비 내리는 시간은 관엽 식물들에겐 스스로 회복하고 치유 할 수 있는 시간이다.
관엽식물들에게 비오는 날이 좋은 이유는 장마기간의 습하고 비가 많이 오는 환경이 자기가 원래 살던 환경과 비슷하기 때문이다.
또한 비를 맞으면 비로 인해 그간 잎 표면에 쌓였던 먼지들이 다 떨어져나가기 때문에 잎이 깨끗해질 뿐 아니라 광합성이 더 잘되어
비를 맞으며 자유롭게 숨을 쉬고 성장하는 행위는 식물에게 긍정적인 영향을 미친다.
현대인이 식물을 바라보는 관점과 사랑이 커져가는 현 시대에 우리는, 5월 12일 '식물의 날' 새롭게 브랜딩하며
비오는 날(비가 오지 않아도) 식물을 밖에 꺼내놓는 행위를 통해 이들에게 자유를 주는 날로 지정하고 이를 기념하고자 한다.
